HIPERSONICA
FILE - Hipersonica is a sound productions festival that use technology and an
electronic mentality. For sound productions, we can understand that it can range
from a simple conversation record, to really complex musical productions in the
erudite music electronic area.
The term "Hipersonica" has a very wide extension and makes reference
to the hypermedias and the hypertexts. It is a speed that crosses limits and barriers.
It's disciplinary transversality will be the focus to be pursued by the festival.
Hipersonica it is not just brand name, it is a notion, a performance, as well
as a new mentality that should travel strategically among all events of the festival.
It is about to face the hypersonority as something open and experimental. Then,
the question that remains is about the connections, mediated by the technology
and digitality, among the several forms of sonorities, as well as about the connections
between the visual productions and the sound productions.
Until now, the visual productions events and the sound productions
events were exposed separately. They were worlds apart. The FILE
- Hipersonica intends to think the several possible
connections among these worlds, in order to empower and enrich them.
So that, it will be able that strategies and experiences can be
exchanged and deepened, mainly concerning their developments in
the digital culture.
Visual nets, textual nets, sound nets, up to where it crosses? Up to where it
is cut? Up to where the strategies of interaction and navigation are affecting,
for instance, the electronic music?
The festival will have an on-line aspect, on one side, through the Festival website,
FILE- international festival of electronic language. In this sense, It will be
possible the exchange of the visual productions exposed in FILE with the sound
productions.
On the other hand the festival will be handle in São Paulo city and will
have, therefore, it's physics-expository-performatic version where sound facilities
and performances will be presented, in real time, so much of erudite electronic
music, as of electronic pop music, where Djs and Vjs will be presented through
specific equipments and facilities with immersive and experimental projections.
