FILE 2003 - GUIDELINE
The call for entrance will be from January 22nd to April 1st of 2003. It is free and open to professionals, researchers and students of electronic language.
Each registration must consists of the participant's name, the title of the work, the usual technical specifications as well as a brief biography and a theoretical summary of the work proposal in English.
Works accomplished in group should have a representative member that will sign the entry form, owing the names of the other members enclosed.
Together with the works hard copy it should consists the entry form properly filled and signed. In case of multimedia work, should be indicated, besides the technical specifications also the type of platform PC, Mac or hybrid.
In case of internet project it should be send also through a digital hard support (Floppy disk, CD-R or Zip) properly labeled with the technical specifications and the authors name.
Once the participant is part of the FILE 2003 electronic language international festival- they will certify that possess all the rights on the same and that the organizer is free from any type of responsibility front thirds.
Each participant can register until 3 works made after 2000. Each work must have its own inscription. You must fill out the entry form for each work you subscribe.
The selection will be made by invited specialists that will select the works according to its creativity, originality and quality of the use of the electronic language.
The selected works will be published in the FILE 2003 website, http://www.file.org.br, which will be launched online after August, 2003.
The selected works will be exposed through projections and equipments that will be manipulated by the public.
When participating in FILE 2003 electronic language international festival they are recognized the bases of the festival rules automatically previously mentioned.
There are no registration fees or cost for the participation and application for FILE 2003 festival.
In case there is any publication printed of the FILE festival an image will be used regarding the sent work.
The FILE 2003- electronic language international festival won't take the responsibility in returning the copies of the works. When the copy of the work will be mailed, please do not declare values.
The last day of the registration is March 01st, 2003.
After submitted the entry form by email, the participant should print and signed it and send together with the work hard copy to:

Observation:

For art work presentation in the FILE Symposium2003 please fills out in the registration form at FILE SYMPOSIUM 2003, choose the presentation format and select the"art work presentation" option.

Notification of selection Acceptance -May 1st l/2003.

It is required, fore some countries, VISA in order to travel to Brasil.
