ELECTRONIC LANGUAGE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
FILE electronic language international festival is opening registrations for its fourth edition. The festival will happen in Paço das Artes in São Paulo city, in Brazil, from 7 to 23 of August 2003,in Brazil,in 2003.
In the last three years, the FILE has been showing what is happening in the internet culture concerning the digital and electronic art. The FILE has constituting a reference for the electronic culture and the digital culture by showing web arts, net arts, artificial life, computerized animations, tele-conferences in real time, interactive virtual reality, interactive films, videos and robotics through interactive immersive rooms.
The festival is calling for entrance also for it's annually event, the FILE-SYMPOSIUM 2003. The FILE Symposium goal is to create a new meeting point, besides the euro- united states, that also discusses the electronic and digital culture and its international relationship, looking for to enlarging the discuss on the digital culture in its interdisciplinary extension, establishing a narrow connection among other digital culture organizations, as well as with intellectuals, researchers, scientists and artists.
This year, the FILE festival will be also inaugurate a new event that will happen simultaneously and integrated with the FILE 2003 and the FILE Symposium 2003, this new arm of the festival will be call the FILE HIPERSONICA, which has the proposal to open for the manifestations and experimentations that are happening today in the electronic sonority fields.
