FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002

1-The FILE electronic language international festival is a non profit organization that intend to promote and disclose the aesthetic-scientific culture in the electronic digital world. In its third edition,
the festival 2002 will count with the new called annual event of FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002 which will be accomplished simultaneously with FILE -2002 festival from 8th- to 22nd August, in São Paulo city .The FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002 goal is to create a new meeting point that goes beyond the axis euro-states and to discusses about the digital-culture and the international electronics art relationships and to enlarging the discussing on the digital culture in its interdisciplinaire extension establishing a narrow and a connection among others online and offline organizations, intelectuals, researchers, scientists and artists, in this sense being able to give us conditions to contemplate about the current production that have being
developed in the electronic culture . As we have being a online festival for two years we have welcomed and hosted hundreds of works most of them on-line that can offer us a support for more reflection and offers opportunity to artists from different natios with others perspectives to being able to talk about their works
providing like this a theoretical and strategic for current cultural conjuncture.The FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002 will be about concerning subjects the several topics that are listed below neverless the interaction between thesubjects is totally open , as well as any kind of artistic manifestations, the topics will open the connections of several keywords that we will suggeste but we will also appreciate new suggestions. FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002 is totally free does not have any rate neither for participants or interested ones to attend the Symposium.
From February 1st the FILE-SYMPOSIUM2002 will be receiving the abstracts which should be send to:

The first step is to send an abstract of 250-400 words and the author's biography (s) to be analyzed by the FILE- electronic language international festival Selection Committee. If the papper
is acceppeted then the participant should send the complete paper with 10 pages at the most.

Guidelines:

1- The abstract should be send together with the authors name and a short bio
2- international papers should be send in English
3 - the national papers should be send in Portuguese and English
4-the author should send first a summary of 250-400 words up to 15/04/2002.
5-final text ( after selection) should have at the most, of 08 to 10 pages, and should be submitted by email untill may 20th.
6 - the lectures should be in English or in Portuguese
